Fredericksburg Dance Club - 11/7

Join the Fredericksburg Dance Club at The Turner Hall, 103 W. Travis Street, Saturday night from 8 pm to midnight. Admission is an appreciated $8 donation per person at the door. Turner Hall has a cash bar and popcorn, however no coolers are allowed. Dancers are welcome to bring in outside food.

Jaycees Turkey Shoot - 11/6

First Friday Art Walk Fredericksburg


A tradition in Fredericksburg is the FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK FREDERICKSBURG, with galleries open until 8:00pm. Fredericksburg's art galleries will be focusing on some aspect of exhibiting artists' works, which may include painting and fine craft demonstrations, casual art talks, opportunities to meet artists, special showings and entertainment. Participants will experience the Fredericksburg art scene up close and personal while enjoying fine wines from local wineries and beyond all day long. Participating galleries are Artisans at Rocky Hill, Charles Beckendorf Gallery, Ben Beckendorf Gallery, Fredericksburg Art Gallery, The Good Art Gallery, Photography 414, Rodeo Studio Gallery, Uptown Market and Whistle Pik Galleries.

Fredericksburg Salutes our Wounded Warriors - 11/7

Fredericksburg Salutes Our Wounded Warriors. Our community will host several busloads of "Wounded Warriors" and their families from Brooks Army Medical Center (BAMC), Audie Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio and Ft. Hood. The FSOWW provides transportation to Fredericksburg, lunch and tickets to the National War of the Pacific Museum and to the RockBox Theater. All of Fredericksburg is invited to come out between 10:00 and 10:30 Saturday morning to greet our soldiers and their families when the busses arrive at Marktplatz. Please join us to show our support and say "Thanks" to these men and women who have given so much to ensure our freedom.

Boot Scootin' For A Cause - 11/7

The second annual dinner/dance series organized to benefit Hill Country Memorial Hospice and the Hill Country Memorial Cancer Resource Center will take place on September 12 at Marktplatz from 5 pm to 12 am. The benefit is a gift from a local family who organize and work the event to honor the memory of their beloved grandmother and mother who died of lung cancer. Featured are Tejas Brothers and David Finley. There will be prizes, food and a full evening of dancing and music. Dance and raffle tickets are on sale now. Golden Hub Halloween Open House

Children and adults of all ages are invited to stop by the Golden Hub Community Center, 1009 North Lincoln, on Halloween between 4 and 6 pm. Treats will be given out to the youngsters. Everyone is welcome to come by to visit, enjoy punch and cookies, and see the Hub’s “horrifying” Halloween decorations. Hub staff and volunteers will be in costume.

Whistle Pik Miniature Bronze Show - 11/1-14

Whistle Pik Galleries, 425 E. Main Street, will host a two-week Miniature Bronze Show, featuring the works of Sandy Scott, beginning Sunday, November 1 and running through November 14. An artist reception will be held on Friday, November 6 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and a Meet & Greet pm Saturday. November 7 from 2:00-4:00 p.m.; both are open to the public. Wine 'til Nine with Halloween at Pedernales Cellars - 10/31

Pedernales Cellars will be celebrating Halloween with a costume party during Wine 'til Nine Saturday October 31. Come to the winery dressed in costume and the best one will be awarded a prize. Lonnie Lett will be performing a variety of music to bring in the evening. A great glass of wine, a great view, and a great chance to spend time with someone special. Come and choose from any of our wines, including the Texas Tawny Port. What's an evening without a glass of port with flavors of black cherry and chocolate to end the day. Assorted exotic cheeses and meats will be available for purchase in our tasting room. We welcome you to spend the evening with us at Pedernales Cellars. Entrance & parking are free. 8th Annual Hallelujah Night - 10/31

The 8th annual Hallelujah Night is billed as "Something Real to Celebrate". Activities will be available throughout the park. Games for the very young will be available near the playground on Marktplatz from 6-8 pm, and games for older youth and teens will be located in and around the pavilions. In the center of the park, you will find a place to relax and enjoy free hot dogs, popcorn, and local live worship music. What is Hallelujah Night? It is an event to counteract the negative aspects of Halloween. The purpose of Hallelujah Night is to shine a light on a dark night. What can be a night of mischief, danger, and wickedness is transformed into a night of light with safe and wholesome fun with games and entertainment for kids of all ages. Cancer Survivor Dinner Seminar and Style Show - 10/29

Hill Country Memorial Wellness Center's cordially invites you to a special evening featuring Donna McMahon's breast cancer journey, local fashions modeled by cancer survivors, fashions provided by local boutiques and a heart healthy dinner.
